D23 Expo is known for providing all kinds of incredible experiences for Disney fans. This year’s event will be no different, as fans will have the opportunity to meet Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino, star of “Moana” Auli’i Cravalho, stars of “Descendants 2” Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson and star of “Teen Beach Movie” Jordan Fisher.
Giacchino is known for composing the scores to many of Disney-Pixar’s classics including “Up” and “Inside Out.” Cravalho, of course, has been heard constantly since November as the voice of Moana. Cameron and Carson star as Mal and Evie respectively, in Disney’s “Descendants 2.”
The star studded group will be available for album signings throughout the event at the pop up store for the Disney Music Emporium on the event’s show floor. Limited quantities of a wide variety of products including new releases of Marvel, Moana and Beauty and the Beast and Disneyland attraction picture discs will be available at the store.
Also available will be the never before released “Walt Disney Records The Legacy of Robin Hood” two-disc set. The first disc of the set will feature the songs and score of the film, while the second disc will feature previously unreleased demos and bonus tracks.
D23 Expo 2017 is sure to be chock-full of other Disney news, announcements and other fun. The event will be held in the Anaheim Convention Center, July 14-16.
