The Colosseum in Rome, Italy, stands like the ultimate real-life arena, drawing crowds of visitors who stroll around its ancient arches beneath a partly cloudy sky—this iconic landmark is the original blockbuster attraction for adventure seekers and history fans alike.

Movie buffs and pasta lovers, this is your dream vacation.

Adventures by Disney is teaming up with Turner Classic Movies to offer a special tour of Rome, Florence, Tuscany, and Venice. The trip explores the culture of Italy through historic sites, artwork, food, and movies.

Guests receive private, after-hours tours of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel in Rome and a private tour of the Ferragamo Museum in Florence. In addition, there’s a private pasta cooking workshop in the Chianti wine-growing region.

Fresh pasta being made by skilled hands on a floured surface, with a shiny copper pot and bowl nearby, brings the lively flavors of an Epcot Italian pavilion or Universal’s culinary showcase to life, celebrating classic food traditions in an immersive theme park setting.

Making the vacation extra special for movie lovers, travelers get a private tour of the legendary Cinecittà studios, where films like ‘Roman Holiday,’ ‘The Godfather: Part III,’ and ‘Ben-Hur’ were filmed. A private film screening will be held at Palazzina Fellini.

Grand Roman-inspired structures with towering columns and heroic statues create a spectacular backdrop under a vibrant blue sky, transporting guests to an immersive, Italy-themed adventure at the park.

The 8-day, 7-night trip takes place from August 11 – 18, 2017. Regular adult rates start at $7,229.

Delicious food, VIP tours, and movie history? Sounds like there’s something for everyone on this trip.
