New “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” character played by Kelly Marie Tran revealed at Star Wars Celebration 2017

Kelly Marie Tran was welcomed on stage at the “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” panel after it was revealed that she’ll be playing a new character name Rose. Not much is known about Rose at the moment, other than she is a maintenance worker for the Resistance.

She joined host Josh Gad, director Rian Johnson, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega on stage. Tran is known for the “About a Boy” TV series and CollegeHumor Originals videos.
