The Characters in Flight hot air balloon receives a new look at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. Last week the Disney Springs icon suddenly received a whole new design and color scheme. It is not uncommon though for tethered balloons to be replaced every couple of years to prevent tear and wear. Unfortunately the bright yellow and red look and the Disney characters that used to decorate it are now gone.
The Characters in Flight balloon has now received a more sophisticated blue color palette but without the Disney characters decorating it the name does not seem to fit so well anymore.
