We’ve entered into the slowest part of the year for theme park attendance in Southern California, so it makes sense that Disney is beginning to offer guests from out of town an incentive to visit the Disneyland Resort and stay on property during the next few months.

According to an announcement made today on the Disney Parks Blog, guests checking in between now and April 20th can get up to a 25% discount on their rooms for select nights between Sundays and Thursdays.

The 25% off deal applies to the orignal Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, with Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel offering up to 10% discounts during the same period.

That’s peanuts. We pay $4-$5k per vacation. Count your blessings.

Closing a landmark ride like Pirates of the Caribbean for all of February and half of March does not make this a bargain.
