During September, Annual Passholders are getting some special treatment on the west coast. Annual Passholder Days are returning to the Anaheim resort for the fall, and a couple of the items on the schedule have people buzzing. The celebration has a few offerings, but the ones receiving the most attention are the scheduled character meet and greets. Some of the appearances are routine, but some of them are not. All of them are exclusive to Annual Passholders.

The meets scheduled from September 6th through the 18th carry a Halloween theme. Skeleton Goofy and Wizard Donald will both be out for photo opportunities. There is a shift in theming, though, beginning September 19th. The character appearances seem to take a more “classically American” approach as Pocahontas, Meeko, and Revolutionary War Era Minnie welcome guests to their sides up until October 2nd. The meets will be at Stage 12 in Disneyland’s California Adventure.

Once all the photos have been taken, there are still more things out there for Annual Passholders. A complimentary button series, designed by Jeff Granito, will be distributed at the Paradise Gardens Gazebo.

Additionally, complimentary recipe cards that divulge a variety of specialty item and seasonal recipes will be handed out. Those can be retrieved at Paradise Garden Grill and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. As expected, there’s also to be a selection of Annual Passholder merchandise like a t-shirt, art, pins, water bottles and lanyards available.

You will be able to find all those items in Seaside Souvenirs and the Studio Store while supplies last, and finally a special presentation about the upcoming Tower of Terror makeover and other family-friendly activities hope to round out the experience.

Considering the popularity of the event, Annual Passholders who carpool with three or more people will be rewarded with parking discounts. Vehicles with four or more people will receive free parking and another AP button, so keep that in mind when you are loading up the car and heading out to the parks.
