New ‘Free Dining’ bounceback offer now available at Walt Disney World resorts

in Disney, Food, Hotel, Theme Parks, Walt Disney World

Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and staying at the hotels between August 1st through October 31, 2016 will get some extra magic with their stay. A new bounceback offer for free dining in 2017 will be available in guest rooms.

The bounceback offer should be available in your room when you arrive but if it isn’t, you can call extension 8844 from your Disney Resort hotel room or call 407-939-1923. The only caveat to the deal is that you have to book it before you check out from your current trip and it must be for a specific length of stay (see brochure below for more details).

The brochure picture says booking on or before 9/30/2016. Hoping you are correct and the booking dates are until 10/31/2016!

That info was originally in the article and was accidentally deleted but has been restored. Yes, according to D2Travel, Disney has confirmed that it is indeed until Oct. 31 (but it’s always a good idea to check again ahead of time just in case).

Is there any way that you can book longer than a six night/ 7 day stay with the free dinning bounceback? And can you book more than one and have your dates back to back so I could have a 12 night stay with the free dinning bounce back?

    1. Jennifer

We booked our free Disney dining bounce back offer last week while we were on property. For Sept 2017. We go for 14 days, 13 nights, get a 10 day park hopper and more ticket, AND get free dining for every night of our stay. One thing I was NOT happy about this time: we made our reservation 3 days into our trip and they have not opened up standard rooms for this offer. It’s garden view ($300 more for our family of 4 for 2 weeks), preferred ($900 more for our family of 4 for 2 weeks), or pool view (I didn’t price that). These amounts were above the standard rate. We have always been able to get standard rooms, but not this year. I called every day of our vacation, hoping standard rooms would become available. Very disappointed

The only thing that may be affecting the Standard room could be the Construction that as you know, has only half of The Wilderness Lodge’s rooms available for business. the entire wing on the check in desk side of the hotel from the front of the lodge to the lake are closed and not being used. They may be holding some of the standard rooms for next September’s free dining plan offer. Just some thoughts.

So, we’re going in November and I’m assuming the bounceback offer will be different by then, but say it’s the same… is there also an option for 2017 room discounts?

  4. Any update on new bounce back offer starting 11/1/16?

  5. Lori

We booked our bounce back with dinning before we left disney world when we got home whole reservation is a mess. The dates are wrong and the dinning is not even added to our visit. When I call they just tell me sorry nothing we can do. So I guess my jumping ahead and getting our trip planned for next year did not work now I have to just sit and wait to see if free dining opens up for non bounce back.
