In Gardner Massachusetts, there’s a 130-year-old Victorian home with a dark history. Numerous deaths, some by homicide, haunt the 7,000-square-foot mansion. Allegedly the spirits who remain have been known to get physically violent. Those visiting the 10-bedroom estate have heard unexplained noises, seen movement in the shadows and some have even felt like some unseen force endeavored to shove them down the stairs.
The S.K. Pierce Mansion was sold to a company called “The Dark Carnival” in 2015 (a steal at $329,000) and is currently being transformed into a haunted attraction. Due the reported paranormal activity (especially the physical incidents) all who enter will be required to sign a waiver.
Once the renovations are complete, the Dark Carnival will open this house to the public during the Halloween season for what will be the only haunt in the country that will combine the haunt industry with the paranormal industry. As guests travel through this one of kind mansion, they will encounter all of our 30-35 trained actors, our incredibly high end animations and illusions, and perhaps even a get a glimpse of the true paranormal. Our high intensity scares will be delivered to our customers without affecting the integrity of this marvelous home. –SK Haunted Victorian Mansion.
According to the event’s website, the mansion is still undergoing renovations so dates and ticket prices have yet to be announced. A more in-depth haunted history of macabre mansion can be found on the SK Haunted Victorian Mansion website (along with, eventually, details on dates and ticket sales). We eagerly await the completion of this deliciously dark abode and look forward to learning more of their exciting haunt adventures.
