London’s famed West End saw the premiere of Disney’s Aladdin musical on June 9th and now the wildly successful show has released their first trailer for the stage show.

“In 1992, Howard Ashman, Alan Menken and Tim Rice’s reimagining of the Aladdin tale became the biggest movie of the year around the globe. Now 23 years later, Casey Nicholaw’s production lifts a whole new audience and sends them home on air,” Thomas Schumacher President and Producer, Disney Theatrical Productions told Broadway World. “We are thrilled to fly Aladdin’s carpet to London where the show has found its ideal home in Cameron Mackintosh’s stunning Prince Edward Theatre.”

“Aladdin is an Arabian night not to be missed at The Prince Edward Theatre”
There’s something for everyone in this laugh-out-loud and shimmering show, where the cast come across as thoroughly enjoying themselves. Not since Sister Act The Musical played at the London Palladium have I left the theatre feeling so positively upbeat and overjoyed. I wish Aladdin a long and successful run. This is an Arabian night not to be missed – the professionalism and skill in this show is astounding.
