The Addams Family Mansion – in glorious LEGO detail

in Merchandise, What If

The infamous gloomy macabre mansion on Cemetery Lane that the Addams Family calls home has been gloriously recreated using over 7,000 Lego parts. Charles Addams would be delighted in the detail of the Lego Ideas project.  Standing almost two feet tall, the three story masterpiece opens into two halves to reveal memorable scenes and characters from the classic 1964-66 sitcom series.

Creepy Kooky features include a full “glass” greenhouse, the family car, Uncle Fester complete with lightbulb and dynamite, a stock exchange ticker tape machine, Kitty Kat (the family’s pet lion), Cleopatra (the man-eating plant), a bed of nails, a family cemetery and much more.

Help make this museum-like mansion an official Lego kit by visiting the project’s page and showing your support.

Lego Ideas is a program where builders can submit their ideas for new Lego sets.  If the project gets the support of 10,000 or more users, it is reviewed by the Lego Review Board for production consideration.  Not every project makes the cut.  Those fortunate few whose projects are chosen for production are featured on the packaging and receive a royalty on sales of the item(s).  Details of the program can be found here.
