The popular, quaint, macabre museum located on Charlotte Street in St Augustine will soon be the focus of a new feature film.
Loosely based on the haunted history attached to the Victorian two-story structure which the museum calls home, this project is the brain child of owner Wolfgang Von Mertz. Last February, . The company’s tireless efforts paid off and the Museum of Mystery will be holding a special event, next month, to unveil the film’s new teaser reel.
In the film, Wolf, who is cast as the eccentric owner of the carnival-like museum, is haunted by the ghost of Mary (played by his wife Ali). Midnight Syndicate, well known for their Halloween music and Gothic horror/fantasy soundtracks, will be providing the score for the teaser (their extensive library of macabre music is the perfect match for this project!).
For those adventurous souls desiring a taste of “Wolf’s Museum of Mystery – the Movie”, a one night special event will be held at the museum; cast and crew will be on hand for all showings.
