This new water play area at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter looks fun!

As if staying at the Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter wasn’t fun enough, Walt Disney World has recently opened up an all-new aquatic play area for the kids to cool off with everyone’s favorite activity: splashing!

As the Disney Parks Blog points out, it’s open just in time for the hotter weather — all the more reason for the little ones to get wet and wild:

Decked out in the bold hues of Mardi Gras gold, purple and green, this new aquatic play area lets guests 48 inches and under enjoy water slides that are just their size, play with fun water cannons, and splish-splash among fountains.

Ah, to be a kid again! This new area is located right by the Doubloon Lagoon pool so the kids can double up on the good times while getting drenched.
