Shanghai Disney Resort-decorated planes to fly select routes starting this month

A vibrant blue airplane awaits takeoff at dusk, featuring joyful artwork of Mickey and Minnie Mouse along its side. This eye-catching aircraft is part of a special fleet celebrating Shanghai Disney Resort magic, delighting fans as it flies select routes.

According to Variety, special Shanghai Disney Resort – decorated planes will fly select routes to and from Shanghai starting this month.

Disney executives in formal suits pose inside an expansive aircraft hangar with a vibrant blue Aladdin-themed plane, one of the exclusive Disney-decorated aircraft flying guests to Shanghai Disney Resort.

SDR and China Eastern Airlines has created a long term partnership and repainted an Airbus A330 plane with Mickey and Minnie Mouse designs ahead of the opening of the Shanghai Disney Resort theme park in June.

The airline will be the park’s official sponsor and is sponsoring the Dumbo The Flying Elephant attraction.

More Shanghai Disney planes are on the way from the airline featuring images from Enchanted Storybook Castle.
