Luke Skywalker gives Yoda a lift through Dagobah, while Rey and Luke (Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill) recreate the iconic Star Wars piggyback training scene, captivating guests with a live homage to classic moments from the Star Wars saga.

“You will know… when you are calm, at peace, passive. A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.”

There’s just something about Mark Hamill’s self-aware brand of Star Wars humor that can’t be beat. Today, the legendary actor from a galaxy far far away  posted a very familiar image on Instagram featuring himself and series protagonist, Daisy Ridley.

Channeling Star Wars energy, a man strikes a heroic pose and points ahead while getting a piggyback ride from a woman in dark attire in the middle of the parking lot—evoking the playful camaraderie of Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley, like fans re-enacting an epic adventure before heading into Galaxy’s Edge.

This is, of course, highly reminiscent of Luke (a much younger Hamill) being trained by Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back.

Luke Skywalker carries Yoda on his back as they navigate the misty swamps of Dagobah, capturing the iconic Star Wars training scene.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is currently filming, and is scheduled for a December 15th, 2017 release date! For all things galactic, stick with Inside the Magic!
