Amorette’s Patisserie opens its doors in Town Center, Disney Springs on May 15

This little bit of news is going to really test my New Year’s resolution to cut down on the sweets, but okay maybe just this one time…

Amorette’s Patisserie will be open for business at Disney Springs on May 15 as part of the new Town Center area and “showcases the beautiful work of Walt Disney World Resort pastry chefs” according to the Disney Parks Blog.

Classic and contemporary cakes and pastries are the stars in this high-end pastry shop where guests can watch pastry chefs decorate signature cakes in the on-stage finishing kitchen. Even the beautiful boutique-style packaging, inspired by old-fashioned hatboxes, lends to the sophisticated feel of the location.

There’s something for everyone: eclairs, New York-style cheesecake, opera cake and sacher torte. Special sweets have names like “Reflection in Memphis” (peanut blondie with bacon, banana and chocolate) and Strawberry Fields of OC (strawberry mousse with basil sugar and lemon curd). Amorette’s Signature Cake is beautifully decorated, with 10 layers of delectable flavors and textures.

With images like this already making the decision to visit the shop an easy one for me, just imagine how incredible they look in person?

Beginning May 22, customers can begin pre-ordering Amorette’s Patisserie cakes by calling 407-934-3500, and they’re requesting 72 business hours advance notice.

There’s also beverage options, including Amorette’s Hot Chocolate Ganache, “a cupful of sippable chocolate with Chantilly and shaved dark chocolate on top”.

Because we all need to treat ourselves from time to time, right?

The goofy cake should have goofy ears not Mickey ears. Goofy cake with Mickey ears just looks all wrong.
