VIDEO: Final track piece installed for Mako roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando

Who’s ready for a thrill?

Track construction has officially been completed on SeaWorld Orlando’s new hyper-coaster, Mako, completing the mile-long steel track on Orlando’s longest, fastest, and tallest coaster. Apparently, the 12,500 pound final piece of the track was topped off with an American flag as the crane lifted it high into the air, as is tradition. #Patriotism

The track is officially 4,760 feet long, it will top 200 feet high and reach speeds of 73 mph. Mako is set to open this summer, with SeaWorld claiming that riders will feel weightlessness as they reach the top of each hill. I can’t wait to try it out for myself!
