During the “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60″ TV special tonight on ABC we got our first look at the upcoming live action remake of the old classic “Pete’s Dragon”.

“Pete’s Dragon” is about the adventure of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who just so happens to be a dragon.

The movie premieres in theaters August 12.
