It’s Thanksgiving week, and of course that means Christmas time is in full swing at Disneyland Resort. And while decorations are plentiful throughout both parks, there are also two special locations where guests can gather to bask in the holiday’s festive glow.
The lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is one of the most comforting, restful places in all of Disney’s west coast properties, and the addition of a huge Christmas tree as its centerpiece only adds to that feeling during the holiday season. Here you can pull up a seat by the fireplace, enjoy the live piano performances of both traditional Christmas carols and a collection of Disney favorites, and enjoy the rustic winter atmosphere.
And just down the main thoroughfare in Downtown Disney, in the plaza outside the Rainforest Cafe, sits Olaf’s Frozen Skating Rink, which features another large Christmas tree in the middle.
These are just two of many great reasons why the Disneyland Resort is the perfect place to get into the holiday spirit.
