PHOTOS: The universe of Star Wars invades the art of Thomas Kinkade

Stormtroopers appear in the middle of an enchanting garden, with a charming cottage dramatically ablaze behind them and smoke swirling into the air—a cinematic scene that fuses iconic Star Wars imagery with the picturesque style of Thomas Kinkade, as if part of an immersive themed experience.

Artist AlienArtisan felt that the serene art of Thomas Kinkade was missing something and therefore decided to create this funny mashup art of Kinkade’s work and Star Wars.

Calling the series of artwork “Wars on Kinkade”, it gives us a great idea how the two universes could be combined.
