Ever since the Japanese airline ANA (All Nippon Airways) announced its “Star Wars”- themed planes back at the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim this past April, fans have been curious to get a look inside.
Well recently, press were given a chance to climb aboard and take a first look at what the interior of a Star Wars plane might include, and they found lightsaber-wielding flight attendants, R2-D2 headrests, red blue lighting in the aisles representing the Light and Dark sides of the Force, and even a diminutive green Jedi Master passenger.
The ANA R2-D2 jet’s first flight was on October 17th, and it will soon be joined by an additional plane modeled after the already-popular new droid from “The Force Awakens,” BB-8.
