Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” begins filming

Marvel Studios announced that production on “Doctor Strange” has begun. This film will be shot in many locations around the world, including London, New York, Hong Kong, and Nepal.

Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetal Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, and Michael Stuhlbarg, and featuring Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton, the highly anticipated film is set to open on Nov. 4, 2016.

Directed by Scott Derrickson, “Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

This film is the latest film in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The goal of Phase 3 is to introduce new heroes, as well as continue the stories of fan favorites.
