IAAPA 2015: Busch Gardens Tampa reveals Cobra’s Curse roller coaster track, model, and new details

At the IAAPA Expo yesterday, Busch Gardens Tampa revealed new details about their latest thrill ride project coming in 2016, Cobra’s Curse.

A detailed model of the attraction was shown at the International Amusement Parks and Attractions show for this family roller coaster with freely spinning ride vehicles and a 70-foot vertical lift.

Unique features of Cobra’s Curse include a vertical lift, to a height of 70 feet, an “outward-banked turn” that puts riders close to the jaws of the 80-foot-tall statue of the snake king Venymyss, forward, backward, and free spinning movements, and an air-conditioned indoor queue.
