Star Wars: The Force Awakens theatrical poster out, new trailer confirmed to air on Monday Night Football

The Force Awakens poster on display, showcasing stormtroopers, spaceships, thrilling explosions, and the Star Wars title—an eye-catching highlight for theme park guests and entertainment seekers eager to celebrate the excitement of the new trailer.

Two months ahead of the U.S. theatrical release, StarWars.com officially released the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” theatrical poster Sunday “showcasing an awakening of the dark side… and the light”, as well as confirming rumors that the final trailer will be airing at halftime during Monday Night Football tomorrow.

Tickets will also be available for purchase starting Monday so you can be sure to have a seat when the hotly-anticipated film arrives in U.S. theaters on December 18. Pre-orders will also be open for worldwide ticket sales.

The Star Wars Marathon event has also been confirmed.

Guests will see each of the six previously released Star Wars episodes in digital 2D beginning with The Phantom Menace and concluding with the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 3D! . Coming December 17.

There will be a special screening of The Force Awakens a day early on December 17 at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs with a special after-hours party at Hollywood Studios. Tickets are available online only at AMCtheatres.com/StarWarsWDW, which will go live after the debut of the trailer.
