PHOTOS: Walt Disney World’s Pop Century Resort food court updates menu with 9 new “specialty burgers”

The value resort Pop Century at Walt Disney World recently did an overhaul of their menu at their “Everything Pop” food court so we headed over there to check it out. The resort has always been known for some pretty weird food items like the Tie Dye Cheesecake and Bacon Chocolate cupcake but their new offering of nine burgers may be the weirdest so far.

The new specialty burgers menu feature some familiar ones like a Salmon Burger and a pretty tame Pulled Pork Sandwich but most of them include some pretty rare toppings. You have the Picnic Burger with a grilled hot dog and sauerkraut, the Benedict Burger with a fried egg and hollandaise sauce and the Oscar Burger with lump crabmeat, brie cheese and berniase sauce, just to name a few. Many more interesting burger combos can be found on the menu below.

During our visit we tried the Oscar Burger and even though the toppings may seem strange they all worked together really nicely and you were given quite a large burger and fries for the price. For a value resort food court these specialty burgers really delivers something new and refreshing compared to other food courts.

This is the best news I’ve read in AGES re food courts! Sounds divine, esp the Benedict and the Oscar. We’re going next week: and now will plan to actually eat at PC, not elsewhere. Thanks for the good news!

Already had the Picnic Burger at the Sci-Fi Drive In at the Studios a year ago–It’s good, but it can be a bit…much. 🙂
