Labor Day weekend kicks off Raglan Road’s annual “The Great Irish Hooley at Downtown Disney/Disney Springs. This Irish festival of all things food, music, song, dance and especially craft beer celebrates its 4th year, with Raglan Road Pub itself celebrating its 10th anniversary this October.

We attended a sneak preview of this event and were invited to indulge in a few of their event exclusive Rye River Brewery craft beers, which had been paired perfectly with savory small plates.

What makes this event especially appealing to craft beer lovers, is the unique offerings of the beer itself. Rye River Brewing Company is one of Ireland’s smallest, yet one of its finest breweries. On top of that, the brew masters have created event exclusive beers that were brewed for this event only. Which means, this is your one and only chance to sample some of the most appealing craft beers I’ve personally experienced. Smooth drinkability, pleasantly aromatic and uniquely adapted to invigorate your taste buds is what Rye River brings to the table, and disappointment is out of the question.

The event will offer you a collection of 4 limited edition brews, 3 of those were created exclusively for the hooley and after the weekend, they’ll be gone for good. You options include a Raglan Road Saison, a citrusy Raglan Road fruit salad Weiss bier, refreshing McGargles Jims Co2 Stout and a McGargles Francis Tropical American IPA.

In addition to this limited engagement, it was announced to us that Raglan Road Pub and Brewery is starting a new seasonal exclusive selection of menu items, all locally sourced from Florida and loaded with fresh appeal. The menu will change through the year, matching each season with a new palette.

This unique Irish roots festival is free for all to attend, however costs do apply for taking part of sampling the beverages and food items. The beer appreciation and tasting classes offers you the up close and personal experience with the fine makers of Rye River, and showcase the science behind pairings certain beers with assorted foods. For example, the McGargles Co2 Stout with a chocolate mousse will offer distinct flavors before and after pairing them together. These classes last around 45min each, and are offered twice daily; 1pm & 5pm, each day of the event.
