VIDEO: "The Muppets" TV pitch reel to ABC that you were never supposed to see

With “The Muppets” officially on the way to ABC, there’s no doubt we’re in for some sensational, inspirational, and celebrational entertainment. But apparently it took a 10-minute video pitch for the execs at ABC to give the show the green light.

Recently at San Diego Comic-Con, attendees were treated to this pitch that was never intended to be seen by the general public… until now. Thankfully, the Internet prevailed. And it’s wonderful:

Sam Eagle said it best: “God bless America and it’s magnificent Broadcasting Company.”

“The Muppets” will debut September 22nd.
