Luigi’s Flying Ties at Disney’s California Adventure closed its doors not too long ago and now the Disney Parks Blog has given us some more details on what we will see take its place early next year. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters will be the name of the new ride and the ride will have guests dancing around with Luigi and his cugini (cousins) from his hometown of Carsoli, Italy. The new experience will  feature both a new ride system and ride vehicles. and will celebrate Race Day in Radiator Springs by demonstrating the dances of their village with Cars Land guests.

    sounds like fun 😉

So, sort of like Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, with sports cars?

  3. Elliott

This sounds worse than the flying tires ride…

It`s going to be the ride system used for two attractions at Disney Sea (Aquatopia;Pooh`s Hunny Hunt) and Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland. Which is trackless. And awesome to ride! So the dance of the cars should be quite fun. Basically it is Aquatopia on dry land.

In the comments of the Disney Park Blog, The post author answered some questions, Basically stating that it was not like the Mater ride, but they couldn’t provide additional information beyond that.

I don’t understand this at all. As in, I literally can’t picture it. Huh?

It’s a trackless vehicle ride, that without tracks, can spin, suddenly go in reverse and yes, with other vehicles, “dance” with and around each other. And this will be The First Trackless ride in a US Disney park, so get excited for a really new experience! You won’t regret it.
