On May 22nd Disneyland Resorts big Diamond Celebration, their 60th anniversary, kicks off with a bunch of new entertainment. The great Disney Legend Richard M. Sherman had his hand in writing two 2 songs for the celebration, one song for the new “Disneyland Forever” fireworks show and one classic song made new for the 60th for the Dapper Dans to perform.
The piece he wrote for the “Disneyland Forever” fireworks show is called “A Kiss Goodnight” and will be performed by Broadway star Ashley Brown. In the video below you can hear a sampling of the beautiful new song and Mr. Sherman also explains why he chooses those words. “A Kiss Goodnight” is a real inspiring song and will be the closing song for the fireworks.
Starting May 22nd make sure not the miss the Dapper Dans on Main Street U.S.A. that will also showcase an updated classic song from Mr. Sherman in their repertoire.
