I-Drive 360 centerpiece attraction, the Orlando Eye, is opening to the public today May 4th. The huge observation wheel is the largest on the East Coast and the first one in Orlando.

On a clear day, once you have boarded the Orlando Eye you can see all the way to nearby theme parks and attractions, the downtown Orlando skyline, and even all the way to Cape Canaveral.

Orlando Eye was also witness to history as Nik Wallenda set a new world record by walking on top of an observation wheel. He walked the 400-foot tall structure without a tether, wire or his signature balancing pole.  Nik said “It truly was an inspiring experience to be on top of the Eye,” said Wallenda. “From the first moment I saw it being built, I knew it was something special and without a doubt would make for one of the most unique walks of my career.”
