1Monsterpalooza was recently held on March 27-29 in Burbank, CA. The event celebrates the art of monsters featuring artists who are filmmakers, makeup artists, haunt event creators and so much more. Cloris Leachman (Young Frankenstein), Linda Blair (The Exorcist) and makeup artists from “Face Off” Kenneth J. Hall and so many more guests from every corner of the horror universe attended the convention.
One of the most interesting things to see in the hall is the various makeup artists booths creating monsters right before your eyes.
There is even a horror museum featuring mostly monster/creature replicas.
Many panels were held during the convention, but the most popular one seemed to be the discussion panel about the Halloween Horror Nights houses.
This panel was hosted by John Murdy (Creative Director/Producer HHN) and Chris Williams (Art Director/Production Designer HHN).
