Star Wars Episode VII title is 'The Force Awakens', announced as principal filming finishes

As principal photography completes on “Star Wars Episode VII,” Lucasfilm and Disney have announced the title of this highly anticipated film – “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

With the announcement comes a title card:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released December 18, 2015.
