Blackout haunted house changes the game for 2014 as this year’s extreme event won’t leave guests alone

Little by little, the country’s most extreme Halloween experience Blackout continues to tease details about their 2014 attraction.

It’s called Blackout: House and not much is known so far. But last night the highly anticipated event dropped a bombshell, revealing that in this year’s new show “you will not walk through alone.”

Blackout is known for forcing its participants to endure horrors all by themselves, surrounded only by actors inflicting all sorts of unpleasantness. This time, that changes… somehow. Will guests be able to enter in groups? Or will individuals be paired up with strangers in a house for an evening? Or will guests still enter alone but quickly be accompanied by someone – or something – throughout the experience?

With the announcement arrived this photo of a young girl:

All that’s definitely been revealed so far is that tickets will go on sale for the New York version of the experience this Friday, September 26. Nothing has been revealed about the return of a Los Angeles of Chicago version of the event just yet.

Blackout is open only to those ages 18 and up, as it features mature content including violence and nudity. More information is expected to be shared via the Blackout Facebook page and on their web site.
