At San Diego Comic-Con 2014, Disney’s hit film “Frozen” was definitely on the minds of fans as they showed up to the panel for the ABC TV show “Once Upon A Time.” But with so few episodes scripted and shot so far, there wasn’t much to see from Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. A brief teaser was shown, followed by a whole lot of conversation about other hot topics from the show.
But in interviews following the panel, the cast and creators opened up a bit about how and why “Frozen” is being integrated into season four, including some comparisons between the animated characters and existing ones on “Once.”
The video below includes interviews with (in order) Jennifer Morrison (‘Emma’), Colin O’Donoghue (‘Hook’), Lana Parrilla (‘Evil Queen’/’Regina’), Jared S. Gilmore (‘Henry Mills’), Robert Carlyle (‘Rumplestiltskin’/’Mr. Gold’), Emilie de Ravin (‘Belle’), Edward Kitsis (EP), and Adam Horowitz (EP).

Not long after SDCC ended, ABC did release a few first looks at Elsa, Kristoff, and Sven as will be seen in “Once Upon A Time” when it returns Sunday, September 28, with a description of the season:
Master storytellers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (“Lost,” “Tron: Legacy”) invite everyone to join Emma Swan, Snow White, Prince Charming, The Evil Queen, Hook and all the other resident fairytale characters as they prepare to defend themselves against a magical force from the past that’s too unpredictable even for Rumplestiltskin – Elsa, the Ice Queen from Arendelle.
Outside the convention center, Disney was promoting “Frozen” coming to “Once Upon A Time” in a big way with a huge building wrap that no one could miss:
