For 18 nights, Howl-O-Scream 2014 returns to Busch Gardens Tampa beginning September 26, featuring a new haunted house and roaming mobs of monsters.

In addition to five returning haunted houses, a new one has been added to the linup called Dead Fall, featuring the ghosts of long lost memories.

Returning are Death Water Bayou, The Basement, Blood Asylum, Zombie Mortuary, and Circus of Superstition – now subtitled “The Final Act” perhaps indicating its last year at the event.

The Experiment is also back as an interactive experience, forcing guests to face their worst nightmares. Admission for the first “test subject” is $50 on top of the regular Howl-O-Scream ticket, with each additional guest entering for $10. The Experiment is subtitled “The Final Test,” perhaps also indicating it’s in its last year at Howl-O-Scream.

Rather than traditional scare zones, Busch Gardens will be filled with “Slash Mobs” roaming hoards of creatures taking over all 300 acres of the park, sidewalks and all.

And at the front of the park, a new Cursed Front Gate Experience will feature evil spirits who are summoned via a song playing from old music boxes and radios, which curses all who hear it. Take a listen:

The only show this year is the returning favorite Fiends.

Club Cursed brings back the event’s dance club, this time with signature drinks “Cursed,” “Contained,” and “Possessed,” along with craft brews at a full-service bar.

The Howl-O-Scream Shop of Horrors also returns for 2014 with event merchandise.

More information and tickets can be found on the Howl-O-Scream web site.

The Cursed theme carries across Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and SeaWorld San Antonio as well, offering an extended listen to the soon to be infamous song:
