The ultimate pop culture convention of the southeast is coming back to Orlando in one week. MegaCon will descend upon the Orange County Convention Center March 21-23, 2014, bringing with it celebrities, comic book artists, cosplayers, and thousands of fans.

Headlining stars this year include comic legend Stan Lee, “The Walking Dead” cast members David Morrissey, Danai Gurira, Steven Yeun, Emily Kinney and Sonequa Martin-Green, a few “Star Wars” stars, as well as cast members and creators of popular movies and TV shows like “Robot Chicken,” “Napoleon Dynamite,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Battlestar Galactica,” and more. A full list of panel discussions can be found here.

Other special events include speed dating, belly dancing, a zombie walk, improv and stand-up comedy, droid building, and a very special panel featuring popular voice actors reading the film script for “Ghostbusters” in their own unique way.

A full list of media guests can be found here.

There will also be a show floor filled with apparel, collectibles, artwork, and a whole lot more merchandise.

This year to entice attendees to spend more time in Artist’s Alley, a contest has been set up in the form of an autograph hunt. Attendees can download and print the forms below, hunting around the convention for autographs from sixteen of MegaCon’s artists. After collecting them all, attendees will receive an entry form to fill out to be entered for a daily prize pack featuring art from each of those artists.

Of course, many MegaCon attendees will be showing off their own cosplay creations throughout the weekend, gathering for three separate costume contests: universal, anime, and zombie.

TodayMonday is the last day to purchase advance tickets at MegaConvention.com. Afterward, tickets will be available at the event at an increased price.

We’ll be covering all three days of MegaCon this year with cameras in-hand. In fact, we’re partnering up with MegaCon to shoot for their official web site, so expect more pictures than ever before!

And for those looking for some after-hours fun, there are many related parties on International Drive as well as further out in Orlando, all encouraging MegaCon attendees to show up in their costumes. (Some are adults only!) Below are flyers for a few including the official MegaCon Cosmos event, Moshi’s 80’s Toons Gone Wild, Cosplay Deviants’ Night of Deviance, and Cos-Play & Fetish Fusion at Firestone Live, and more.
