I think the only thing Disney is trying to do is making the people return to Magic Kingdom at least 3 more times during the visit, cause one day is no longer possible to enjoy the whole park! What did they do? PUT MORE STUFF INSIDE THE PARK! Anna and Elsa where just fine at Epcot, even with the big lines, since the park doesn’t have lots of attractions for kids, the wait to meet these princesses wouldn’t be a problem! Now at Magic Kingdom its gonna be a disaster! Lines to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella are already big enough, even the fastpasses won’t help (cause NOW there is a limit of 3 FP a day, which you are going to be screwed in some long line anyways)! The option to meet Anna and Elsa at Magic Kingdom and with FP won’t do any good, cause everybody is going to get FP for them, then it won’t have more times available, and then the rest of the people will need to wait! Plus, when the lines are huge are Epcot, people can go all around the Norway building to stand in line, at Magic Kingdom if the line gets that long, where all those people will fit in???
Its just chaos! Not happy at all with this decision, cause having Magic Kingdom and its 40 to 50 things to do, you can barely do 10 things (between rides and characters) during the whole day! And when they are bringing Anna and Elsa to MK? April!!! Almost summer timer, when the park is gonna be even more packed! Disappointed!
Sorry, but I totally disagree with anyone who thinks this move is a bad idea. We just returned from a 6 day trip to Disney, and Elsa and Anna being at Epcot was a disaster. 4 hour lines by 9:45. My daughter never got to meet Elsa, and it was a major bummer. This is a fabulous way for everyone to meet their favorite character, and a definite benefit for those of us staying at a WDW resort since we can fast pass 60 days in advance. If you get to the parks at rope drop, you have plenty of time to ride most of the rides with little to no wait, so this meet and greet is a FABULOUS FP+ idea. There is no way people were going to be able to wait in line for 4 hours at Epcot this summer- Norway is tiny and there is NO shade. It would have been brutal in August.

I’m a Florida resident with an annual pass and I still have not met Anna and Elsa despite them being two of my favourite characters. 4 hours for characters isn’t gonna happen for me, and FP+ is not possible at the current epcot meeting place. My only chance for meeting 2 of my favourites is this change to FP+, and I know many other people are in the same boat since 4 hours is ridiculous. This move will be a good thing for line efficiency, even if you seem to disagree. You’re still welcome to the standby line, if you want.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but these really aren’t the characters. They’re only girls for the local college dressed up in Disney cosutmes to make a little extra spending money.
Thanks smalls. I don’t want to pay oodles of money where I spend half my day with a five year old waiting in line to see a character. Of course you can’t tell your child no, but at the end of the day, 3-4 hours is too long.
I’m so glad they are moving them. Norway was just to small and cramp for the demand of people. While I am not happy withe the fp+ system, I would use of my 3 to see my daughter light up when she sees her favorites.
This is fantastic news! I’m going the first week they’re moved there. I just attempted to secure the fast pass. I got the one for Cinderella and rapinzel at Fairytale Hall. I assume this will transfer to Anna & Elsa?

I think they need to include them as characters at the Norway Princess Breakfast too! Meet & Greet in Magic Kingdom, plus the princess breakfast in Norway. They have many princesses that are at both locations.
