Star Wars Weekends 2014 to kick off with ‘Rebel Rendezvous’ merchandise event at Walt Disney World

Star Wars collectibles on display, including a commemorative medal, a themed pin, a pack of trading cards, and eye-catching artwork of a stormtrooper wielding a lightsaber—all ideal souvenirs for guests experiencing Star Wars Weekends at Walt Disney World or attending the exclusive Rebel Rendezvous event.

Disney is giving fans a day early access to Star Wars Weekends this year with a new merchandise event called “Rebel Rendezvous.” The announced details include access to Darth’s Mall a day before the rest of the event begins, from 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on May 15, 2014.

Tickets are $250 for the event, which includes a limited edition “recruitment pack” with merchandise like pins, lanyards, hats, and other similar items. Meet and greets with characters and Disney artists will also be part of the event.

Star Wars Rebels recruitment merchandise set—including an orange and black messenger bag, cap, lanyard, pin, patch, and tumbler—exclusively debuted at Rebel Rendezvous during Star Wars Weekends at Walt Disney World.

Registration begins on March 4, 2014 for the event at 1:00 p.m. at www.DisneyParksMerchandise.com.
