The Griffith Park Carousel was a location to find a clue for The Optimist, Disney’s alternate reality game taking players around Los Angeles in a tie-in to the upcoming Tomorrowland movie. This carousel is reportedly where Walt Disney was inspired to create Disneyland, wanting to have a place where adults and children could have fun together instead of parents simply sitting on a bench nearby watching their kids play.
