Not a stop that I will be making. Its sad that we had to loose that bakery. I will go to the Disney bakery near the castle. If anyone wants Starbucks they are on every corner.
Basically what they did here was bring good coffee into the parks… Which is a good thing. The bakery theming looks to be right in line with the timeframe and very similar to what was there. The use of the older style logo is a good move too. Yea it wasn’t developed during the turn of the last century but it has the right look. They even developed a decent backstory. And I enjoy the literary connection too.
No, not good. The coffee is good but they got rid of the wonderful croissants with ham and cheese for breakfast that were a Disney fav with our family. Huge FAIL, Disney!
I’m glad they are bringing in better coffee, but WHY do they have to bring in the Starbucks pastries? I want my double chocolate muffin, and my danish from the Main Street Bakery? Why did they take away the classic main street bakery pastries?????
I agree. One of our family traditions was to stop there for a quick pastry breakfast just after opening. (Sometimes the mayor walks through on his way out). It’s just not the same getting the same fare we can get a few hundred yards from our front door (in New Hampshire).
They are coupling main street bakery with starbucks, like the starbucks in disneyland you will be able to get the normal main street pastries or starbucks pastries.
this looks like any old Starbucks in any old shopping mall, airport or on any old street. I certainly have no problem with progress or a good cuppa jo, but I do hate to see the mouse diminishing more and more every day. Nothing special here…too bad.
While it may be nice décor it is now exactly like ordering in any fast food place and the display of pastries is poor, nothing like the awesome display and personalize service that was, lets be real.
I still don’t like it. Why couldn’t they bring in the coffee without all of the other Starbuck’s items? Their pastries are terrible, and I’m not a fan of their sandwiches. And I hate that the seating is gone. We used to set up shop there with some snacks at parade time, and take turns going out on to Main Street to watch.
I think it sucks. The mainstreet bakery was awesome and the Disney is supposed to be a place to “leave the real world behind”. Starbucks is a soulless reminder of the workaday lives we are trying to forget about for a week (or whatever time frame).
I’m not a coffee drink but it’s nice to see Starbucks with the old logo. I use to work for Starbucks in the 80’s. I miss the old logo. I hope no moms complain about the logo.

Do you know if the Disney locations will sell the city mugs that Starbucks offers at many of their locations?
Ricky Brigante
I haven’t heard anything about them.

Coca-Cola is full of soul?!

You don’t have to have a Coca-Cola brand store to sell cokes.

No – but PEPSI is – bring back PEPSI like when DisneyWorld first opened! :o)

Agreed.
I’m waiting to find out that Disney has bought Starbucks clandestinely, as it did the land on which it now sits.
