Krusty the Clown’s once-loyal slapstick partner Sideshow Bob has yet again broken out of prison, this time forgoing revenge on Bart Simpson to meet and greet with Universal Orlando guests.
Sporting a blue prison jumpsuit complete with inmate number 24601 (a nod to Jean Valjean in Les Misérables), Robert Underdunk Terwilliger – best known by his stage name Sideshow Bob – may be secretly planning his next evil scheme, but is publicly smiling and posing for pictures.

Both Krusty the Clown and Sideshow Bob are new additions to Universal Studios Florida following the opening of Fast Food Boulevard, featuring Moe’s Tavern, Krusty Burger, and more familiar food and drink opportunities straight out of the world of “The Simpsons.”
The duo is now meeting and greeting guests on a daily basis as Universal gets closer to completing the Springfield expansion, which will ultimately include a new ride and more dining options. (Check back for more details on that soon.)
They normally meet guests in front of the Kwik-E-Mart, close by The Simpsons Ride. But while Krusty’s outward appearance is made of nothing but smiles, he’s forever a curmudgeon within:
