Walt Disney World’s latest update to “The Magic, the Memories, and You!” features a variety of summer imagery projected onto Cinderella Castle, adding a bit of fun-in-the-sun to the iconic structure.
The new 2-minute sequence includes a very brief intro from Phineas and Ferb followed by familiar characters from “The Little Mermaid,” “The Lion King,” and more. Goofy makes a surfing appearance while the castle appears to be made of sand, among other special effects set to music.

Unlike previous updates to the show, which consistently replaced the same sequence from the original, Disney has retained the romantic scenes debuted earlier this year while also adding the new summer sequence.
“The Magic, the Memories, and You!” is shown on Cinderella Castle each night just before and after the “Wishes” fireworks show. A similar summer sequence has also been added to the Disneyland version of the show, projected onto the “it’s a small world” facade. Both will continue being shown throughout the coming summer months.
