This morning Disney held the grand opening ceremony for Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, the newest in the more than 20 hotels throughout Walt Disney World. In addition to the hotel’s common areas, including a colorful lobby, gift shop, and Landscape of Flavor food court, the Finding Nemo wing is now open, featuring one of Disney’s largest hotel pools.
On hand to commemorate the event were Walt Disney World president Meg Crofton along with a group of singers, dancers, and plenty of characters including Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Nemo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, and plenty more.

In traditional Disney fashion, it all ended with a giant confetti burst, filling the sky with color as characters waved to guests and press in attendance.
