That looks cool!! I remember past cruises where you had to walk around the room looking at hundreds of other families printed king for yours!! This will make things SO much easier.
They do still have rows of shelves with pre-printed photos, but they’re conveniently categorized in albums that make it fairly easy to find yours. But the system in Shutters is by far the easiest to use. I personally prefer to just take and print pictures with my own camera, but that also requires lugging it around at all times. Not every family wants that inconvenience, particularly when frequently swimming, so having Disney’s photographers around helps capture those memories without the hassle, even if it’s rather expensive to purchase the pictures.
I also keep my camera permenantly attached to my hand at all times, it’s the photographer in me…. But the professional portraits are nice to have, and my husband and I have a wall of Disney portriats of us starting in 2001 for our engagement, all the way up to 2010. And I CAN’T wait to take some new ones on the Fantasy in September!!
wow, I edited my post and I didn’t have “insert” selected on my keyboard….. that 2nd sentence should read; …..looking at hundreds of other families printed pics looking for yours!!
That seems to be a lot of money spent to design a photo developing space. I remember the Disney Microscope from when I was a kid. I think the idea is clever though and I am sure the kids will enjoy the experience of developing there vacation photos in such a place… – Jason
I meant to get pictures of our Fantasy Cruise last week but got sick on the last day and wasn’t able to….is there any way you can view and order pics after the cruise??
Thanks, Claudia
