Universal Orlando 2012 Mardi Gras concert line-up announced featuring Kelly Clarkson, Cyndi Lauper

Details for one of Orlando’s most popular concert events have been announced at Universal Orlando prepares for its annual Mardi Gras celebration. Taking place from February 11 – April 14, this year’s concert line-up includes 14 headline acts such as Cyndi Lauper, Plain White T’s, and Kelly Clarkson.

Here’s the full 2012 Mardi Gras concert line-up and dates:

  • Feb. 11 – B-52s
  • Feb. 18 – Kelly Clarkson
  • Feb. 19 – Boyz II Men
  • Feb. 25 – Diana Ross
  • March 3 – Goo Goo Dolls
  • March 10 – Big Time Rush
  • March 16 – J Cole
  • March 17 – Sugar Ray
  • March 23 – Hot Chelle Rae
  • March 24 – B.o.B.
  • March 30 – Plain White T’s
  • March 31 – Prince Royce
  • April 7 – Cyndi Lauper
  • April 14 – KC and the Sunshine Band

    Mardi Gras 2012 concerts are included with park admission to the Universal Studios Florida theme park and take place on select nights at the Music Plaza stage, in front of the popular Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster. There are no seats, but a large grassy area provides a reasonably comfortable place to relax and enjoy the show.

    In addition to concerts, Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration includes a popular family-friendly parade, complete with beads, and plenty of Cajun food in the French Quarter Courtyard.
