On Dec. 6, 2011 at a press event, Universal Studios Hollywood announced the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be coming to California, including Hogwarts castle and the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride. Also confirmed at the event was an expansion of the existing Wizarding World in the Islands of Adventure theme park at Universal Orlando in Florida. In attendance were executives from Universal Studios and Warner Brothers, the Governor of California, and James and Oliver Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films.
