Yep, disappointing . but I expected this. It’s tippical Disney to drum up a hype and fail in the execution.
Can’t wait what Universal will anounce about the new Potter adition and the new nighttime show. Much more exited about that.
I could be wrong but I think the prize is a choice between the photo pass stuff, or the tours, or the shopping spree, or the spa. I don’t think you get them all.
As someone who cannot sleep if there is a park open, even if it means going to bed at 3am after extra magic night hours in Magic Kingdom and getting to the parks again by 7am for Epcot emh the next day this seems fun and also dangerous. Also it seems odd that so little in WDW is open late at night, I feel like there should be some activity specific to Disney available 24 hours a day (not the same one open all day, but something at any time, besides what? Deluxe property room service?)
They always have to drum up SOMETHING for February (remember the Pirates & Princess Party?), so as events go, it’s not bad.
My thoughts were either “When are they going to do the all-night cleaning?”, or feeling guilty for the CM’s, but if it’s for one night, it can have a New Year’s Eve 2.0 feeling to it.
But then, I’m usually the cheapskate who goes in February anyway–And Value season ends after President’s Day to begin with.
I can’t wait. I’m going to try and do the full 24 hours at Disneyland. If any of you go, you’ll more than likely spot me around hour 20 as I scream/sing ‘It’s a Small World’ between rides due to lack of sleep and overload of sugar.
wait, you mean it just a 24hour one day or it will start to operate 24 hours since febrary? confuse. it thats the case, theres no EXTRA MAGIC HOUR for those who stay at the disneys hotel? hummm
Comments for Disney announces Disneyland and Disney World theme parks will open for 24 hours on Leap Day 2012, vacation contests launch

This is disappointing to say the least, especially for those who will not be there during those dates.
