Voting is now underway for the 2011 Podcast Awards, with our own long-running show nominated in two categories. Dubbed “The People’s Choice” awards, the annual Podcast Awards offers listeners and fans a chance to have their favorites recognized for excellence in a variety of categories.
And for the sixth year in a row, the Inside the Magic podcast is nominated for both Best Travel Podcast and Best Produced overall. We thank all our listeners and supporters who enjoy our show each week and who nominated us in these categories. But now we ask for your help!
Despite having been nominated for six years straight, we’ve never won in either category. While it truly is an honor to be nominated, complete with a year-long link on the Podcast Awards web site, it would be wonderful to take home a win for 2011.
We ask that if you enjoy what we do, please vote for us in both categories every day, starting today, through October 26. You may vote once per 24 hours, for 14 votes total. Voting takes place by visiting PodcastAwards.com and selecting Inside the Magic in the categories of Best Produced (at the top) and Best Travel (at the bottom). Be sure to also verify your vote via email if asked to do so.
