Disney has made the lives of all fans attending the 2011 D23 Expo next week a little easier by releasing a web-based mobile application, accessible on any web-enabled browser – portable or otherwise. The app allows attendees to create custom plans, browse a schedule, see show floor maps, read FAQs, follow official social media feeds, participate in polls, and receive other updates and information.
With the app, Disney D23 has revealed the layout of all three show floors at the 2011 D23 Expo:

The app is easy to navigate, with a simple menu system offering attendees plenty of D23 Expo information at their fingertips:
Included in “Things to Know” is informationa bout tickets, autograph signings, costumes, payment/ATMs, discounts, hours, along with a very important note about the Photography/Video Policy:
“No pictures or video are permitted in the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives exhibit, other select venues, and screenings. The Walt Disney Studios presentation in the D23 Arena will be monitored for unauthorized recording. Mobile phones and recording devices are strictly forbidden. Security will be on hand to check electronics at the door. You will be subject to removal from the theater for any suspicion of mobile phone or recording device use. Unauthorized recording will be reported to law enforcement and may subject to criminal and civil liability.”
Keep in mind when planning to attend the 2.5 hour Walt Disney Studios presentation that your electronics will not be allowed inside and you may wait in a rather long security line to enter and exit.
