San Diego Comic-Con 2011: Photos from Preview Night on the convention floor

San Diego Comic-Con 2011 kicked off last night with the annual Preview Night, giving fans access to the convention floor for 3 hours of getting an early glimpse at the spectacles throughout booths and a chance to have first grabs on exclusive merchandise.

Thousands of visitors poured into the San Diego Convention Center, very few in costume, but all with a plan to see as much as possible in a short amount of time before the masses arrive during the four following days. The biggest displays include larger-than-life statues of Voltron, Transformers, He-Man, Monster High, a Back to the Future DeLorean, and much more. Here are a few of my favorite sites from Preview Night:

In the end, after hundreds of dollars spent, I left with a trunk full of SDCC exclusive merchandise and a desire to get to bed to prepare for four more days of excitement.
