Following the recent announcement of “The Thing” haunted house to be featured at Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Studios Hollywood has revealed its second maze for the event will be themed to the 2005 horror film, “Hostel” and its 2007 sequel.

“Hostel” was produced and directed by Eli Roth with a script developed by Quentin Tarantino. The graphic film follows 3 backpackers in Amsterdam as they are locked out of a youth hostel and welcomed into a man’s house who tells them of an inviting hostel elsewhere in Europe that is home to gorgeous women – but that dream proves to be a nightmare. The film is rated R for scenes of torture and violence, strong sexual content, and language, all of which lends itself perfectly to a Halloween Horror Nights haunt.

On Twitter, Halloween Horror Nights creative director at Universal Studios Hollywood John Murdy promises an “extreme gore fest” with this new haunted maze, which will be set up in the theme park’s Revenge of the Mummy queue.

Halloween Horror Nights 2011 begins at Universal Studios Hollywood on Sept. 23.
